Service Dogs of Virginia, Inc. is a Charlottesville, Virginia based non-profit organization dedicated to raising and training service dogs to assist people who have disabilities.Their goal is to help individuals in wheelchairs or with a mobility disorder to become more independent through the assistance of a highly trained dog.
A canine companion is an appealing warm magnet that draws people to an individual in a wheelchair, an individual who is characteristically ignored and rendered invisible. Once the dog performs this little bit of magic, disabled individuals can be seen for the people they are.
We were pleased to provide them with site that shows off their amazing work along with their dogs, staff, and current clients. We also set up a way for them to take donations and solicit volunteers.
