The Friends of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library raises funds that enable the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library to promote and provide programs which encourage members of the community, particularly the young, to read, and to develop additional and alternative library services within the branches of the regional library system.

drw Design created the site for the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library, and a few years later, the Friends decided they wanted a new one, too.
Designed circa 2001, the original site had inconsistent and rather confusing navigation, an outdated style, and was in need of a total makeover.
The goal was to give them a new look, but to have some consistency with the main Library site. We call it a “close cousin.” The rotating pictures of the literary cats and dogs lend a nice friendly feel.
We helped them re-organize their content and put them into a content management system so they can maintain the site easily in-house in the future.
Here is what they said:
“The redesigned website is a delight! It’s appealing, informative and easy to navigate. I know that meeting our many demands complicated the design process, and I sincerely thank you for sticking with us, answering the hundreds of questions we posed along the way, listening to our suggestions and incorporating changes into the design that we felt would accommodate our users. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone who has seen the website. Thank you for bringing us into the 21st Century!”
